ETSU Stadium
Stadium Cam

In the Fall of 2017, East Tennessee State University will begin playing football on campus for the first time since November 22, 2003. The Home for Buccaneer Football will be a classic horseshoe designed stadium nestled at the foot of Buffalo Mountain in the campus' southwest corner. Bringing football back to ETSU is crucial to the future vision for our campus, students and alumni. The University's enrollment goal of 18,000 students is within reach, as football serves as an extraordinary piece of that effort. An ETSU College of Business economic impact study has shown that $32.5M in annual spending will be achieved as a result of the some 500 ETSU students associated with the football, band and other programs. Everyone stands to benefit from the Blue and Gold on the gridiron. Your support and engagement with ETSU Football is an investment in ETSU, our students and this region.

The Time is Now, Go Bucs!

"East Tennessee State University changed my life in so many ways. The education I received, the friends I made, the music I made all altered the path of my life in such a positive way and I am forever grateful. Sports have always been a big part of my life and I couldn't be more excited that college football is returning to Johnson City and upper East Tennessee. I'm excited for the school, the town, the students, and for all the future ETSU football players that will be a part of history and something really special. I'm honored and thrilled to be a part of that in a small way and can't wait for kickoff."

"I am forever grateful for the academic and athletic opportunities that ETSU provided me during my time as a Buccaneer from 1978-1981. Today, those of us who love ETSU have an amazing opportunity to leave an indelible imprint on our campus that will significantly influence future generations of Buccaneers. We need a new, on-campus stadium for our football team to call home. Because of this need, I am pleased to offer my help to make this stadium a reality. Please join me -- and my friend and fellow Buc Kenny Chesney -- to help us raise the funds necessary to leave a lasting legacy for OUR program. Thank you for being a Buccaneer and embracing this fundraising effort. Go Bucs!"
